When we get a new property to do landscape maintenance the first thing we do is make sure the irrigation system is working properly. We check for faulty valves, sometimes they leak or they have a faulty diagram that releases air thus causing sprinkler heads to ooze water. We replace faulty valves, and then we check the sprinkler lines for any leaks, whether visible or underground. The underground leaks are usually detectable, we spot them when you have muddy areas or spots that are greener than others such in grass or where there is mold. We replace all broken sprinklers. If the irrigation controller is not working, we replace it with a new one.

Our maintenance crews are overseen by a supervisor. He is out in the field supervising jobs and constantly seeing what new improvements can be made to upgrade our maintenance accounts. Our supervisor is flexible in his schedule, he supplies our crews with equipment and materials. He is also on call to see our customers and to tend to any emergency calls.

We are the only landscape maintenance company that offers all of these maintenance options. I came up with these options to better meet the needs of my customers and due to fluctuating economy times our society has been going through. If want to save money you may consider the traditional weekly service. We offer our streamlined options that can save you a considerable amount of time.

I came up with the Every 10 Days option, as it eliminates 16 weeks (approximately 3 months) from the yearly calendar. Having to wait 3 more days more than the regular weekly service can cut your cost down by approximately 25%. I recently quoted a job for $1000 for weekly service, and I offered the Every-10-Days option. It brought down the cost down to $750.00 or a yearly savings of $3000.00. When I give you a quote I can give you a price for our various options or give you tailored made a quote for your particular needs. If you want to have a more cost effect price, I’ll find you the way.

We've saved our customers money on their water bill by adjusting the watering time, fixing or replacing leaking valves, sprinklers and pipess not to mention resolving flooding issues. We prevent mole, fungus and mushroom growth by monitoring the irrigation time correctly. Once we get you on our maintenance schedule, we put the property on a yearly program: we fertilize the lawn 4 times a year. put winter rye seed during the winter (if required), chemically treat the lawn during the end of winter to kill the seeds of weed grasses and we trim the trees once a year.

Services Overview

Our Service

It is very important for us to have the irrigation working properly. If you have a manual system, I always recommend that we install an automatic one. In cases, where you have irrigation valves inaccessible with electric wire, we can install a battery operated irrigation controller for a valve(s).

Lawn Care
---Mowing and edging of lawn:
+We cut the grass at the appropriate level. We edge the lawn and keep open the space for sprinkler pops-ups to spray.
+We get rid of grass on our lawn mowers before we cut your lawn, to prevent distributing grass seeds from other lawns to yours.
---We fertilize the lawn about 4 times a year. Sometimes we use fertilizer mixed with weed control chemical.
---We apply winter rye seed for some lawns; some types of grass do not need it.
---In cases were there are gophers, we used different methods to rid them off your property.
---We use different types of weed chemical to eliminate different types of weeds that are common in lawns.

Best Solutions

---Check and replace broken sprinklers and faulty valves.
---Check to make sure the sprinkler heads are of the right size, either for the lawn or planter area. There are pop-up sprinkler heads from 2” inches to 8”. Check to make sure sprinkler heads have the correct nozzles on for proper spray. Sprinkler nozzles can water from 4” feet to 14” and spray either flat or at an angle.
---Repair leaking pvc or metal irrigation pipes.
---We adjust the irrigation controller to water at the right time, so as to prevent water from being to moist, thus causing mold, fungus and rotting of roots. And we program the water cycles for appropriate watering, and to save you money on your water bill.
---We know how to work dripping systems, and we can install them as well.

---Trim bushes, hedges, shrubs.
---Edge planters and level ground cover. Keep ground cover from growing onto walls.
---Keep bushes, hedges, shrubs, ground cover, trees separated at a reasonable distance. Nothing should be growing onto each other.
---Fertilize if needed and add mulch when the soil is poor.
---We recommend that all planter areas have woods chip to maintain soil moist and to save on your water bill.

---Trim the shoots of trees.
---Trim the skirts of trees as high as our hands can reach.
---Trim trees (separate cost with your pre-approval)
---Stake young trees and any kind of plant as needed.

Parking Lots
---Air blow parking lots and walkways.
---Use weed killing chemical to kill weeds from cracks or seams to prevent damage on asphalt from the growth of weed stems.
---Reduce as much water as possible from getting on asphalt to prevent water from slowly wearing and damaging surface.

Planting in General and Seasonal Planting
---We normally try to plant flowers, plants and trees that are natural to our weather. Southern California has a dessert climate, plants from the New England area or tropical countries may look good in magazines, but they won’t do as well or not make it at all in this kind of environment.
---Plant seasonal flowers, we normally stick to hardy ones, that’ll thrive in hot or cold weather, and less likely to die from intense heat or frost biting weather.
---We use different methods to plant flowers, plants and trees. With flowers and plants we use soil amendments when needed, it all depends on the quality of the soil. Trees are sometimes delicate to plant, on some we have to use gravel to keep water from rotting the roots.
